The Final Podcast!!!

So I've just finished uploading my final podcast! I've got to say that this one took me a little longer than I would have liked it to. The main problem was that 10 minutes was a little constraining considering the amount of information I was trying to cram all into one time frame. My original first draft was 19:30, which was almost double what I needed to end up at. However, with a lot of editing, and creative cutting, I was able to get the final product down to just under 10 minutes.

Currently YouTube is being stupid and will not allow me to link to my video, but as soon as that is resolved, it will be posted.

I hate youtube...

Okay, so I have had my podcast done since the day it was due (two Thursdays ago). I uploaded it (or so I thought) on the day it was due even though I was sick at home so I missed class. On Friday I went out of town and was gone until last Thursday. While I was gone I did not have internet, so I did not check my blog to see if it was working properly.

When I got home I checked the blog to see if anyone had commented, then I noticed that the video was jacked up. So, I reposted the embed code from youtube, but that did not fix it. So then I deleted the video from youtube and tried to reupload it. I have yet to be successful in getting the video to upload, it always dies out after about 15 minutes of faking like it is going to work.

EDIT: Okay it looks like it is going to work now...but, I still hate youtube...

My Second Podcast

So I just finished my second podcast, and I have to say...I think this is my most boring one yet. No really, prepare yourself, I present my theory on which my final paper will be based. While the theory (to me at least) is interesting, I feel like the video drags towards the middle part.

However, the production and scripting went off without any real issue. I planned out the video earlier in the week and was able to shoot and edit the whole thing in an afternoon. I am worried that my video might not fit the exact requirements of what this second podcast was supposed to be; however, it fits into the progression of my four podcasts.

My first video podcast

Okay, so I just finished my first video podcast. It was a relatively easy process. I was able to write my script, shoot it all and edit it down in a relatively quick manner. The thing that took me the longest to create was the opening sequence (and that was only because I was so indecisive on what I wanted graphics wise).

So, I edited the actual podcast in about 20 minutes, but it took me about an hour to get my opening graphics sequence like I wanted it.

I think that I will be able to reuse the graphics for the next two video podcasts though, so in the future it will not take me nearly as long.
