Okay, so I have had my podcast done since the day it was due (two Thursdays ago). I uploaded it (or so I thought) on the day it was due even though I was sick at home so I missed class. On Friday I went out of town and was gone until last Thursday. While I was gone I did not have internet, so I did not check my blog to see if it was working properly.
When I got home I checked the blog to see if anyone had commented, then I noticed that the video was jacked up. So, I reposted the embed code from youtube, but that did not fix it. So then I deleted the video from youtube and tried to reupload it. I have yet to be successful in getting the video to upload, it always dies out after about 15 minutes of faking like it is going to work.
EDIT: Okay it looks like it is going to work now...but, I still hate youtube...

Justin--
That study sounded interesting. I can see how it fits with the psychophysiology study you are working on right now too. I think you did a great job of explaining your rationale, methods and the results as well.
As far as the podcast goes, I thought it was really well done. There were no glitches in version that I watched, so apparently YouTube got it right. I also like that your intro slide is the same across each of the podcasts. It's a nice job of branding yourself and your podcast and making them work together, more as a series than indivdiual podcasts.
I feel as well, that I need to comment on your shirt again. I might as well keep a nitpicking, tedious comment going. The white shirt is good. There was no blending in with walls or chairs. :) And, the frame of your shot was also much less cluttered with many fewer distractions as well.

The audio and video are good. I’d encourage you to add in some graphics to help people catch the salient points. The background works better this time—no monitor to distract the viewer. Nice job.
And yes, YouTube can be annoying...
Justin
This podcast was very interesting. I think that you'll have a lot of good information come from your research, and be able to go forward with it.
Looking at the actual podcast I liked with you did with the background and the angle of your shot better. The very "clean" wall was not distracting and I could focus more on what you were talking about. Your content is always solid and it seems as though you're ocmfortable in front of the camera and with what you are presenting. It's also nice to know that you had some kind of hook up with at least one of these podcasts since the rest of us seem to deal with it everytime:).
Overall very good and I'm looking forward to podcast #4!
Justin,
I like this podcast. Your research topic seems interesting too. On this podcast, I like the background settings. It’s more comfortable and focuses you more than previous podcasts. Your camera angle, background, and sound are great.
I totally understand about the youtube situation. I also have does experience…I uploaded it, but the video seem different or there was no video at all…I hate it too! By the way, it works now…
For the information about your experiment, I suggest that comments who they are and why did you choose them. It will help to understand the results. Your topic seems really interesting and there will be lots of opportunities you can do your further research. I hope that your paper get accepted! And keep going with your further research!!!
Overall, GREAT job!
the information you gave about your study was very interesting. Your explanation was great.
I like that you changed the backdrop-- I definitely wasn't concentrating on what was going on besides what you were discussing.
Sorry youtube was messing with your podcast - - technology can be a pain!
Good job again, can't wait to see number 4.
